As most of you know, I returned to the U.S. in mid-April after a 3-month stint of missions work in Kenya.  My time there was well spent, perspective-changing, and used by God.  I learned a lot about God, the world, and myself.  I have been glad to be back, sharing stories of God’s work and visiting with family and friends.

In Kenya, a door opened for me to go on another mission trip; this time to India.  So, I prayed about it for a few weeks, and when it seemed to be the right choice, I said yes.  So in a few days, I’ll be on my way to India to co-lead a mission trip.  Thanks for checking out my site, I just ask for your prayers while I’m gone until the end of July.

-Thanks.

I’ll be in the Kibera slum for most of the trip and then near Nairobi. Where in Kenya are you from?

Kibera!, Nice. Its a very harsh place and certainly in need of all the attention of the world i tell you. Please do whatever it takes to help the people.

I am from the very remote part of Northern Kenya,a town called Wajir close to the Somali border.

Good luck. You will LOVE Kenya,i am afraid, you will fall in love. Many people do and once the bug bites you,you will keep going back.

in relation to Kenya, watch this clip from Kenya when Barack Obama won. The most interesting part starts at around the 2.minute mark.

    Enjoy

That’s so awesome you found my blog. I’m getting really excited for the trip as I will leave in just over 2 months. That’s assuming I can raise the funds between now and then. Thanks for the information!
